Leadership Situations serves two kinds of people: leaders and followers.
We are passionate about the role of the follower in the leadership relationship. We help followers find their genius and where they fit in the world. We also help followers to find their life’s work and transform ideas into actionable strategy. Whether the follower finds their place within their existing company or creating their own lifestyle brand, we give followers permission to implement the thing that they have been thinking about doing for far too long.
We help also leaders figure out how to get the most from their teams by maximizing the skills, talents, and abilities that followers bring to the table. Learning to ride the wave of follower momentum can catapult a team from ordinary to extraordinary and take a leader beyond their own expectations. The results show up in increased productivity, team cohesiveness, and the team’s willingness to go above and beyond.
We affect the change we want to see in the world through the following coaching services:
- Strategic Planning Coaching
- Infrastructure Coaching
- Fundraising Coaching
- Accountability Coaching

About Founder and CEO – Jacqueline House, MBA
Jacqueline House, MBA is the Founder and CEO of Leadership Situations. She is a creative thinker, leader, writer, grant writer, fundraiser, and strategist with over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles. Jacqueline’s first professional leadership experience put her in charge of an Interstate Unit of Child Support, responsible for millions in revenue, at the age of 24 with little formal leadership training and even less leadership support. Thankfully the unit succeeded in reaching and surpassing its goals, but reaching those goals was not without anguish as she charted the rocky road of leading former peers, navigating senior management team relationships, and directing team members more than double her age. Gratefully, everyone survived! Jacqueline went on to hold various other leadership positions. But, that first leadership experience is why she is focused on helping new leaders and followers. While a certain amount of anxiety is inevitable with every new assignment, having a coach to help with the pitfalls is good for everyone. It’s good for the leader. It’s good for the followers. And it’s good for the entire company, whether your company is nonprofit or for profit.
Jacqueline’s interest in leadership had been born years before from watching leaders, as well as serving in various leadership positions in the church. However being placed in such a position of leadership, that literally affected the quality of life for so many people at such an early age, drove home the magnitude of the importance of the actions of leaders and the impact of leadership on followers. She has since served in many leadership roles in her career and as a volunteer. Her passion for all things leadership, with a new found perspective on followers, deepened during her MBA studies which included an intense examination of the leader-member exchange theory focused on a relationship based approach to leadership.
She has a background in non-profit leadership and administration in such capacities as Director of Membership and Marketing, Director of Development, Grant Writer, Fundraiser, and Public Relations. She was the founding Head of School for a private institution focused on serving at-risk students. Her expertise extends as well to research and data analysis. Jacqueline brings all of her administrative and leadership experiences to coaching leaders and followers who have arrived at a fork in the road and are contemplating which way to go through leadership and accountability coaching. She also works with organizations and small businesses through strategy, infrastructure, and fundraising coaching.
She is the author of “House Rules for New Leaders and Managers”, the new straight to the point primer for those just entering the realm of management and leadership, and those who need a reminder about how to maximize their role as the leader.
Jacqueline holds a B.A. in Communication from the University of Central Florida and earned her MBA from Hodges University. In addition to leadership lessons learned in her career, she has gleaned lessons from a number of professional and community organizations with which she has worked.
